God is asking you to spend more time in prayer and reconnect with him. This doesn’t mean that you have to start going to church, or participate in any kind of organized religion at all, and it doesn’t have to be a big deal. If you can, just sit down for a few minutes and tell God what’s going on in your life.
A few days ago, I was rambling on and on and I finally said, Jesus, sorry, you don’t want to listen to all this gibberish. It was just a whisper in my mind, but he said, no one else talks to me. It was the saddest thing I ever heard, like a little kid nobody wants to play with. God doesn’t care what you say to him; he knows what you are thinking anyway. But he misses you.
