Today You Get to Participate in a Miracle

Someone close to you feels overwhelmed by physical pain, financial worries, or an emotional or mental issue. This is the last creature on earth to complain so you might have to tap into your intuition to figure out where the cry for help is coming from; the first face you see when you close your eyes is your answer. You are probably not going to be able to solve this problem, and that is not what is asked of you anyway. But if you can, be there. Make a phone call. Send a text. Sit with your pet and see if you need to get him or her to a vet appointment. Investigate that constant barking or meowing in the neighborhood on these hot days. Resolve to tune into the needs of the people and animals around you, and over time your empathy and ability to connect will deepen and grow. That’s what it’s all about. Ask God to use your hands, voice, and resources to aid someone in trouble, then get out of the way and let God get it done. You are being tapped to participate in a miracle, and it starts now.
