God, please let my sister’s scans come back clean. God, there is strife in my workplace. God, I am dreading getting together with the family for Thanksgiving.” Whatever it may be. He’ll hear you. It is also okay to ask for a sign that he heard you and he’s on it. Let him pick the way he wants to get back to you, though. God knows how to communicate with you in the most effective way. Over the next two weeks, you will a renewed sense of peace, trust, and maybe resignation about the things in your life that are still going to take a while to work out. But God is with you.
