Today’s message is from the Halloween Oracle by Stacy DeMarco. Forgiveness. There is the potential for someone to hurt your feelings now. You might overhear an ugly comment but it’s more likely that it gets repeated to you by someone else. Ignore it. The comment reveals more about the person who uttered it than it says about you. You might be tempted to confront him or her about it, but don’t bother. In terms of the “friend” who repeated the insult to you, he/she is really just trying to stir up trouble under the guise of doing the right thing. You don’t need friends like that. Forgive everything. Your forgiveness doesn’t mean that this is okay. It just means that you are not willing to carry this burden. Give it all to God. He’ll take care of it. And how!
