You are Being Tested Now

Today’s message is from the Tell-a-Fortune cards by Daphne. Five of Spades. You’re being tested now. My Lord, how you’re being tested. It might seem like everything you’ve built over the last several years is turning sour. A relationship might fail. Your job could be in jeopardy. One of your adult children drops a bomb on you and you’re at a loss as to how to help this kid and get him to smarten up! You could be tempted to turn bitter and angry. Try to resist. Take a long walk. Meditate, not all day, but for five minutes, just to clear your head. Offer your problems to God and there is no need to be polite about it, trust me. “Look, I need help with XYZ right away. I can’t wait for Divine timing to kick in.” It’s okay to get exasperated in prayer. It is very honest. Bullies who like to hide behind God will sometimes say, “God will never send you anything you can’t handle.” If that’s the case, God miscalculates too often. The tests you are enduring now might have been sent to encourage you to lean on him more. You’re so strong that sometimes he gets needy about hearing from you. Talk it over with God, let it rip, let it all hang out and don’t hold back. Avoid any humans who might treat you harshly now. You’re one snarky comment or eye roll away from a possible homicide 🙂 I don’t know what else to tell you except that God is listening and he can take whatever you need to dish out. Get it all off your chest, then hunker down and wait for things to get better. This cloud will begin to lift within the next seven to ten days.
