It’s Time to Let Your Inner Artist out to Play

Today’s message is from the Animal Spirit Oracle by Frederic Calendini.  Creativity.  Thsi is the second time this week that creativity has shown up in the card of the day, remember?  We saw the artist the other day.  If you have recently started a creative project, the Spider is here to encourage you to keep going; if not, it’s time to get started.  Try it.  What do you have to lose?  Go to Dollar Tree and get yourself some inexpensive watercolors or a journal and a cute pen.  Start writing down your thoughts, ideas, maybe some memories from when you were a kid.  Paint.  Sketch.  Take pictures.  Jot down ideas for a stand up routine.  There is an artist inside you who wants to come out to play.

Although spiders can seem creepy when they crawl across your clock radio in the middle of the night, they are lovely creatures.  They eat the bad bugs, spin beautiful webs from scratch, and form very close family ties.  If you are dealing with estrangement from a family member, or overall tension with relatives, the Spider has come forth to reassure you that all will be well.  Just like spinning a web, reconciliations take time.  Don’t try to rush things now.  Give it some space.  Allow things to unfold gradually, but it’s going to be all right.

Funny story … several years ago, I was having an argument with my boyfriend in my kitchen.  Right in the middle of it, he grabbed a metal cup off my sink, poured himself some water right from the tap, and tossed it down.  The metal cup was sitting on the sink because that’s the cup I used to take spiders and other creepy crawlies outside.  I take a paper towel, coax the bug into the cup, and take him or her outside.  Anyway, the boyfriend is long gone but the metal cup is still sitting on the sink.  If you find a spider in your house, please escort the lady outside.  Don’t harm her 🙂 God bless you and have a great day.
