Today’s message is from the Tarot of Dreams. The Devil. I knew this jerk would show up sooner or later, and just when Christmas was starting to seem like fun this year. Oh well. Let’s talk about it. The devil is likely to appear today to distract you, upset you or depress you. You have been doing great lately. Maybe you got a better job and you are rebuilding your finances and your self-esteem. It could be that you have cut back on drinking, smoking, overeating, overspending, or any other vice. Maybe you left the house feeling positive and happy but had an encounter with someone who flipped you off in traffic. Whatever it may be, it is not a big deal. If you fall down on the job a little bit today, dust yourself off tomorrow and get back on track. Ask God for help. If you find your mood sinking or your mind going to the dark side, try getting outside, taking a walk, or listening to music. See the figure in the cage? The door is open. You, too, might be in a prison of your own making now. Yes, the devil is real but nothing evil has any power over you. You belong to God. Say three Hail Mary’s and maybe burn some sage. If you resist the devil, he will flee from you. The bad guys hate the sound of joy and laughter, too, so go out and get yourself some of that. God bless you and have a great day –
