Today’s message is from the Good Witch, Bad Witch cards by Gillian Kemp. A quirky, out of print gem. The Brown Witch. You have a long term goal in sight and you are working steadily toward it now. Maybe you have embarked on a plan to eat better and move more or create a bedtime ritual to get better sleep. You might be working on a book, a piece of music, or another creative project with leaving the corporate rat race behind as the endgame. Maybe you are planning to go back to school. Whatever it may be: you’ve got this. Take one step forward towards your goal every day and don’t get discouraged. Jealous people around you will be threatened and might try to stop you. Don’t pay them any heed. A year from now you will look back on the seeds you planted today and realize how far you have come.

“Spell for Academic Success:
Light an orange candle to represent intellect and leadership. Say,
‘This candle I burn,
To help me me learn.’
Allow the candle to burn while you work. If confronted with a mental block or lack of concentration, gaze into the flame and repeat the words. Snuff the candle out when you complete your studies and say a prayer for inspiration before going to sleep. The effect is cumulative.”
