This is a Good Time to Reach out to a Friend who is Struggling

Today’s message is from the Tarot Decoratif by Ciro Marchetti. Wheel of Fortune. All right, don’t panic, but you are not in control of your life as much as you think you are. You work hard; you save money; you take care of your health; but things happen. Jobs are lost. Investments fail. People get sick. I’m not saying any of this will occur, and it is important to keep a careful watch on the little piece of creation that is yours. That’s how you say thank you for everything that has been loaned to you on this earth. Good stewardship 🙂 But bad luck or poor choices might have ensnared a friend. If fortune has favored you, now is a great time to reach out to someone who is struggling and see if you can help that person out. Even a kind word or an encouraging text message could keep someone going. What about having a coffee or taking a friend out to lunch if you haven’t seen him or her in a while? You probably have a few gift certificates lying around from last Christmas that you haven’t used. I’m not saying it will be fun. In fact, the afternoon will probably be draining and disappointing. People tend to be bores when they are down on their luck. I know I am 🙂 But maybe do it anyway. You could be the answer to someone’s prayer. Sit and listen without judgment or trying to give advice. The whole point of this is to let a friend in crisis know he or she is not alone. Then come home, kiss your spouse, hug your kids or your dog and look around at your life.
