There is No Need to Rush an Important Decision

You need to make an important decision but you don’t have the first clue which way to go. Maybe you have to choose between two relationships, new homes, or job offers; your next steps forward are likely to carry your life in a whole new direction. No wonder you’re worried about making a mistake. Give it a rest right now. Sit tight. Listen to good advice from a trusted friend or colleague, but don’t let someone else’s opinion sway you. In the end, this is your choice and you are the one who is going to have to live with it. Ignore anyone with a stake in the outcome who tries to bully you into going a certain way. Get out in nature if you can and turn the whole matter over to God. You are going to figure it out. Within the next two weeks, the fog lifts and you discover the answer. There is no need to rush this process. If someone or something is pressuring you … then just consider that path closed for you.
