Even Positive Changes Can be Scary

Today’s message is from the Halloween Oracle by Stacey DeMarco.  Skull of Flowers.  You have prayed for changes in your life, and they are coming; but sometimes old structures have to be torn down first so you can build something new.  Over the autumn and winter months, you might feel like familiar things are falling away.  Maybe you get laid off from your job, move out of the apartment you have had for ten years, or end a relationship that has been stagnant for a long time.  Change is scary, especially when you don’t know what’s coming next.  Sometimes you have to go through a fallow period when nothing really happens before your new life can start.  Take comfort in the knowledge that this really is the answer to your prayers, even if it doesn’t look quite like what you pictured.  God’s got you.  If you feel like your life is off track, please know that you are just stalled for now.  Things might slow down for a while, but you are safe.  You will be warm, dry, and well fed all winter.  Turn to prayer when you get freaked out.  By the end of the winter and the beginning of spring, everything speeds up again.  Your new life is starting.  God bless you and have a great day –
