You can either drive yourself crazy trying to figure out who it is, or you can say a simple prayer for help. “Dear Lord, please protect me from trusting the wrong people.” God will shield you if you ask … if you don’t ask, you might have to learn this lesson the hard way by waiting for the betrayal. Don’t do that. Go to God over this. Surround yourself with tried and true friends and family now; hold off on signing any contracts or making any long term changes or promises. Wait for the false party to betray him or herself over something insignificant. At some point, he or she is going to realize that they have been unmasked and probably try to apologize; be magnanimous and gracious …. but don’t ever turn your back on this person again.
