A Message from the Crystal Realm: Citrine

Today’s message is from the Crystal Oracle Cards by Toni Carmine Salerno. Citrine. The sunny crystal, citrine, makes an appearance today to let you know that it is time to lighten up. You have been carrying many burdens over the last several months, but positive changes are coming. Money gets better. Health matters improve. Your household/neighborhood/workplace quiets down and everyone starts getting along. The beautiful citrine stone attracts money, so this is a good piece to wear on you or carry in your wallet. You can get high end citrine jewelry that is either modern or vintage – it was very popular in the 20’s and 30’s – or you can just buy a tumbled stone for a couple of bucks. The good vibrations remain the same. Citrine does not hold onto negativity, so if you are dealing with any heavy energy in your environment, this is a good stone to keep on hand. Citrine seems to hoover up anger, fear, and sadness without dimming its own light. A friend of mine puts citrine, clear quartz, and rose quartz in her pots and planters, and her flowers bloom gorgeously all year long.

I know not everyone is into crystals. I have had more exposure to crystals than a lot of people, and a lot of them made me feel kind of “blah” when I held them. I resonate with citrine, though, and you might too. The next time you go by a New Age store or a jeweler’s, go in and ask to hold a few pieces of citrine and see how you feel. (There is a jeweler in Quincy who keeps large bags of citrine and amethyst crystals on hand for custom pieces, and sometimes I visit them. It’s like holding two kittens in your hands).
