I wish I could tell you that all your problems will evaporate, but that’s just not the way life is on this whirling ball of mud. This is not a Disney movie. We all have good days, not so good days, and truly dark days we must endure. I would have to hunt up the exact verbiage of this, but one of the promises of the Rosary is, “Through devotion to the Most Holy Rosary, you will obtain all you ask of me … as long as it does not interfere with the sanctification of your soul.” That always prompts me to say, hey, Mother Mary, no takebacks 🙂 But it sums things up well. We are all on our own path and learning our own lessons.
Over the next several days and weeks, you are going to get invisible help from heaven. The prayer closest to your heart is answered, but this happens quietly and gradually, without a lot of fanfare. That doesn’t make it any less of a miracle. What are you worried about right now? Money? Extra funds show up, maybe not a lot of extra money, but enough to get you by just when it is needed. You may turn the corner in terms of a health situation, especially if you have been in pain and are on the verge of giving in to despair. A great job is offered to you. You find a safe, comfortable, and affordable place to live. A loved one who has been at a distance has a change of heart and your relationship gets back on track. God can and will accomplish all of these things, but he is going to do it without showing off. You might even think later on, well, but that might have happened anyway. It could have been a coincidence. Was that really a miracle? I don’t know, was it? God needs your reassurance now, that you are willing to lean on him and believe in him. What will you choose, doubt or faith?
