You Might Have to Contend with an Enemy Today

Today’s warning comes from the Tarot of Dreams by Ciro Marchetti. The Devil. Let’s talk about enemies for a minute. We all have them. An enemy could be someone you have wronged in your life, but it is just as likely to be a person who resents you for what you have, what you do, what you have achieved, the values for which you stand and the cherished rights, freedoms, and beliefs that you defend. Sometimes people take an instant dislike to you for no reason at all and you just have to live with that. The most insidious enemy in your life might be someone close to you who smiles to your face but then stabs you in the back. Good times, huh? 🙂

Today you could cross paths with someone who is hostile to you. Hold your head high. Try not to lash out. Keep your dignity. This person is acting out of fear or jealousy and there’s really no way to grapple with that. You kind of just have to let it pass … but you are safe. God’s got your back. If you are a praying sort of person, I recommend saying three Hail Mary’s. The devil is terrified of Mother Mary. No matter what comes at you today, nothing can hurt you as long as you stand in your power and rely on God’s grace … and your lack of reaction will drive your enemies nuts! 🙂 God bless you and have a great day.
