Ask for Help Now

Something that seems insurmountable could drop right on your head, and your immediate reaction will be, WTF? If this happens, do not panic. Take a few deep breaths. It’s going to be all right. This is a challenge to overcome so you can continue to prove to yourself how strong you are … but you might need someone else to come to your aid. Before you do anything, take a few minutes to pray. Ask God to guide you to the right friend/family member/clergyman/medical professional/financial advisor, etc., then get out of the way and let heaven help you. Give it a few days for God to get back to you. The help you need will soon arrive in the form of a discreet, understanding person who will guide you through this problem without making you feel belittled or like this is all your fault. There’s nothing new under the sun, believe me. This has happened before to someone else and that person got through it. So will you. You are going to come through this struggle intact, your private business will remain private, and you will learn how deep your resolves of courage and strength really are.
