Resist Temptation Today

Today’s message is from the Halloween Oracle. Apple. Risk and Reward. Someone around you might try to tempt you to do something that doesn’t sit well with you today – take a two hour lunch, day drink, play Keno, buy a new car you really cannot afford, call an ex, whatever. Be wary of anyone who tries to push you into doing something that doesn’t feel safe or right to you. There is a name for people like that. We call them antisocial energy vampires. I should know. I used to be one.

Someone is watching you jealously and thinking you have all the luck. Well, you are “lucky” because you are doing your best to live a good life. If there is anyone around you who makes fun of you for eating right, limiting alcohol intake, saving money, adhering to a good work ethic, keeping a regular bedtime, following your spiritual path, whatever it may be, you might want to distance yourself from them. This person does not have your best interests at heart. Ask God to protect you and reveal your enemies now … because sadly, a lot of the people we can’t trust come into our lives with smiles on their faces and honeyed words on their tongues.
