You Need Some Quiet Time Now

You have been asking for help and answers to your problems, but God is having trouble getting through to you. There might be too much going on right now. The demands of work, family, and your role in your community are creating a lot of background noise. Take a little time away from it all if you can. Even an hour of quiet time to yourself will do you good. I like taking a walk by myself to get back in touch with divine guidance, but taking a drive, going to the beach, or even sitting in your favorite chair will benefit you and help you clear your head. We pray and God responds, but sometimes we just can’t hear him. Ask for help carving out a little time to yourself today. You will start the work week off with renewed optimism and a fresh perspective … even if you still don’t have all the answers. Your noisy life will be waiting for you when you get back.
