Today’s message is from the Tarot Grand Luxe by Ciro Marchetti. The 9 of Swords. Unfounded fears. You might have woken up from a nightmare this morning. God knows I did. Nothing is more dull than someone else’s dream, so I won’t bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, I was very happy to find myself in my own bed.
Have bad dreams been troubling you lately? There’s nothing wrong. No dire fate is hanging over your head. It is usually the case that your subconscious is trying to work out a problem, release an issue, or issue a warning, but the situation is not as terrifying as it seems in the middle of the night. It’s not your fault; you were asleep 🙂 In the light of day, try to figure out what type of dream it was. Problem solving? Releasing? You might even dream about astral travel or experience a visit from a loved one who is on the other side. If you met up with a friend or relative who has crossed over, he or she might have met you in the dream coming down a set of stairs or crossing a body of water to get to you. These dreams can be really comforting. Prophetic dreams are pretty rare, but they do occur. You might dream about a particular situation and figure out later on that you knew about it before it happened. Once you decide what type of dream it was, you are more than halfway to an explanation about why you dreamed it in the first place. Keep a dream journal, even if you only remember your dreams a few times a year. Writing them down really will help you feel you have control over your worries and fears. Over time, patterns will emerge. Whatever you do, do not take your dreams too seriously. Try not to obsess over them. If you are really suffering, ask God to protect you from nightmares. He will step in if you ask him. In the words of the Beach Boys song, which has been playing as I write this post, “Don’t worry, baby. Everything will turn out all right.” Have a great day.
