Let God Deal with the Bullies in Your Life

Today’s message is from the Under the Roses Lenormand deck. Child+Scythe. Someone might challenge you, frustrate you, or question your authority today. This is an immature, insecure person, no matter his or her age or position in life. Heated words could be exchanged. The encounter hits you squarely on the ego and you might be tempted to respond in a childish way – “I know you are but what am I?” – but hold back if you can. It’s kind of like stubbing your toe in the morning as you head out the front door. Have you ever noticed how something like that can throw your whole day off? You can either let this experience ruin your day, or you can take a breath, recenter yourself, and ask God to get things back on track. Later in the week you have an opportunity to do a good deed for someone who has no way to repay you. You are going to be the answer to someone’s prayer for help. God, who accomplishes everything, is asking you to loan your hands and help out. How cool is that? You must be doing something right. You are God’s instrument of peace later in the week. Ignore the schoolyard bullies in your life, no matter what shape they come in. God knows how to deal with these types on your behalf. “May all who gloat over my distress be put to shame and confusion.” Psalm 35:26. I hope your day gets better 🙂
