Still, the bare bones of your life path are laid out for you at birth. It is up to you to navigate your opportunities and sidestep the pitfalls. God is with you every step of the way so you can never really go off track, even if it feels that way.
Over the next four months, you are achieving clarity on your next steps in life. Maybe you always wanted to go to nursing school and you plan to return at age 50. DO IT. You might be toying with the idea of asking a long time friend out for a date because you have finally admitted your feelings to yourself. DO IT. Maybe you want to chuck it all, travel the country, and visit the sites of all the devastating Civil War battles. DO IT. That unfinished novel? FINISH IT. Your whole story is not written yet. Your past sorrows and current challenges only show a piece of the puzzle. God is still working on you. In the quiet of these darker days, look within and ask yourself: What’s next? What do I still want to do? Where am I unfulfilled? Pray for help and then wait for instructions. Doors will start to open for you. When you know it is time to act, go for it.
