Thursday, November 7: Your sensitivity is heightened

It’s another Offbeat Oracle day 🙂 Today’s message is from the Art of Astrology cards. Cancer in the 4th House. Today is a good day to stick close to home, spend some time with your pets, and avoid the more challenging people in your life. If you have a friend who always wants to debate politics, argue about religion, or otherwise “improve” you, let her call go to voice mail today. The 4th House rules your home, so you will be happiest and most successful in familiar surroundings. If you can, work from home. If you have to go into the office or out into the world for work today, pray for protection. You are extra sensitive to harsh words now, so try to sidestep any conflict. Listening to some dreamy music will be beneficial … anything that makes you feel that your current worries are not really all that important, and turns your thoughts to heavenly things, will work. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so this is a good time to look up your own Moon sign and read about it. Our Moon sign governs our emotions and shapes the “private self” we don’t always show to the world. For bonus points, look up the Moon signs of loved ones, friends and colleagues. Anything you can learn about the people in your life that will help create more harmonious relationships is favored when Cancer is in the 4th House. I recommend the site Cafeastrology.com to get you started. Have a great day, everyone.
