Friday, November 1: Prepare to Argue Your Point

Today’s message is from the gorgeous Gilded Reverie Lenormand cards. Book + Tree. The Book indicates knowledge and study; the Tree is spirituality that nourishes and includes everyone. You only have to see the rainbow to know that. Do your homework. Something has either occurred, or is about to occur, that will anger and frustrate you. Your deepest and most cherished values and beliefs could be challenged. Maybe you will hear an authority figure speak and know in your gut that he/she is wrong. This person could be speaking out of malice, but it more likely to be ignorance. Even so … impressionable ears are listening. How damaging might this be? Before you take this person on, get your facts straight. Research the issue. Consider your argument and how you might want to defend yourself when you are challenged. Pray for guidance and wisdom. Cool off. Give it a day or two. If it doesn’t seem important enough to argue about within a few days, stand down. But if this seems like a worthy cause, give it all you’ve got. Argue from your heart, not your ego, and you will carry your point.
