Wednesday, October 16: You are in Control

We are going old school and back to the bookcase today. Today’s message is from the Running Press Tarot. The Emperor. Things are going your way and fortune favors you now. The frenzied energy of the last few weeks quiets down and you feel like you are back on an even keel and in control. Take stock of how far you have come even over the last few weeks. Your patience has been tested and you did not lash out. A deep seated fear resurfaced and you looked it in the face. You have experienced sadness and frustration, and rode it out instead of trying to hide from it by turning to your addiction of choice. You are stronger than you thought you were and now you have the evidence to prove it. Late in the day, a friend or family member contacts you for a favor. You can afford to be magnanimous now. Say yes, then lend the money, recommend them for the job, or intervene with a third party, without expecting anything in return. Go you!
